Please sponsor me for this lunacy - The Goal this year is £500, which pays for a professional psychiatrist to visit a veteran in prison and plan and implement a positive future for them and their families. So - It's THAT time again, Airborne vs Marines. Except this time its a 38 mile race west across the Brecon Beacons at the height of summer. Care after Combat is a UK based charity providing support within the Criminal Justice System for the well-being of former British Armed Forces personnel and their Families. And for some reason this means that psychiatrist Dr. Jane (Below) insists we run up and down large hills on sunny days dressed in black and carrying big green bags with pants in. This year we'll be tabbing and yomping over some unremarkable little hillock called Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons whilst being shouted at by angry little men who's job involves popping up out of rivers with knives between their teeth and having very short tempers. What could possibly go wrong - ???
