Care after Combat is extremely pleased and proud to announce that five new Ambassadors have joined the Care after Combat team since the summer. The five are: Alistair Scott, Ian Campbell, Paul Whitehead, Keith Tate MBE and Col John Baynham OBE. They are the first ‘new recruits’ of a national network of Ambassadors who will play a key role in raising awareness of Care After Combat within the wider community and will promote and support fundraising initiatives. It is a voluntary role for passionate supporters of Care after Combat that involves inspiring people to support the charity, educating people about what Care after Combat does in supporting Armed Forces veterans, and, amongst other strategic aims, increasing the geographical reach of the charity. Welcoming them to the team, Adrian Kirk, Chief Executive, said:
“It is with great pleasure that I formally welcome Alistair, Ian, Paul, Keith and John to the Care after Combat Team as Ambassadors. Their abundant passion for the charity is clear, with long-standing association from many, and is evidenced by the fantastic work and support already delivered, with great ideas in the pipeline too. The delivery of operational and strategic aims of the charity is boosted significantly by having such capable, well-connected and respected Ambassadors as ardent proponents of Care after Combat. I look forward to working closely with all of our Ambassadors on exiting new initiatives into 2023 and beyond.”
Meet the team here.
