Mentorship programme of support

Our mentors work with individuals both in and out of prison through our unique Project Phoenix program.

With firsthand Armed Forces experience, our mentors understand the challenges you face and provide tailored support for at least one year after release.

Group meetings in prison

We conduct regular group meetings in prison to ensure individuals have the continuous support they need.

Here, you can share experiences and receive guidance from those who have walked in your shoes.

Remote support service

Even in prison lockdown conditions, our commitment to you does not waver.

We send monthly wellbeing/activity packs containing essential items like paper and stamped-addressed envelopes, ensuring you can stay in touch and receive support.

Telephone helpline

There is a helpline available 24/7 which is available in the community and in prison. Whatever your situation, someone is just a call away.

Raising awareness through training

We educate non-military services about the unique challenges faced by military personnel.

This training ensures a deeper understanding and better support for veterans within the Justice System and beyond. Better understanding means better help.

Connect to other services

We collaborate closely with various services and organisations to provide comprehensive support, including healthcare, housing, employment and benefits assistance.

Support for Military Families

We recognise the importance of families and offer specialised support tailored to their needs. By partnering with other services, we ensure families receive the right help promptly.

We listen & respond

Our services are shaped by the voices of those we serve. We continuously refine our approach based on feedback from serving and former military personnel and their families, ensuring we meet your needs effectively.

Is Care after Combat for me?

It doesn’t matter why you’re involved in the Justice System. We understand that life can be unpredictable and we’re here to help you make positive changes for your future. If you have been arrested, might receive a prison sentence or are already in prison, we’re here to support you.
