Care after Combat was honoured to participate in this year’s Remembrance Sunday commemorations at the Cenotaph in London, joining 10,000 veterans and service personnel in paying tribute to those who made unimaginable sacrifices for their country.

Ten members of our team gathered at Horse Guards in the morning hours, witnessing the solemn proceedings around the Cenotaph before taking part in the march. The event, organised by the Royal British Legion, provided a powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance and the ongoing need to support our veteran community.

For Care after Combat, Remembrance Sunday holds special significance. As an organisation supporting veterans in the justice system, we witness daily the lasting impact of military service on individuals’ lives. This day of national remembrance not only honours the fallen but also reminds us of our duty to support those who have served and returned home facing challenges.

Care after Combat extends its gratitude to the Royal British Legion for including us in this significant day of remembrance, allowing us to stand alongside fellow veteran organisations in honouring the fallen.

The act of remembrance strengthens our resolve to continue giving our support to veterans in the justice system, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the help and understanding they deserve, no matter their circumstances.
