"Following on from Jim’s announcement that he is stepping down from his role as CEO of Care After Combat, the Trustees would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank him for his contribution in taking the Charity to the position we now find ourselves in.
Jim Davidson OBE was instrumental in setting the Charity up, has been there through all of the ups and downs, and the fact that he assumed the role of Interim CEO during a transitional period, and has taken no salary in doing so, is the clearest of indications of how he wishes for no more than to see our Veterans get the services they deserve.
Needless to say his work here is not done, it is simply the right time to continue to let the Charity grow and drive the Charity forward to meet his, and our combined vision. Jim is Care After Combat, and he will be with us for a long time to come, albeit in a different role at an exciting and challenging time.
He will be 'promoted', and as he hands over his interim role, will rejoin the Board in April, which will allow him to concentrate his efforts on fundraising, events, and corporate partnerships, all of which he is a master in.
Jim has given us the tools, for that we are forever grateful, BZ to Jim."
